Turkish yard Mengi Yay is working on a couple projects at the moment and one of them is a 36.5-meter motoryacht made in composite/wood. The project, known as NB 89, is well underway in construction after being started back in Mid 2013. The semi-displacement yacht will be accommodating a minimum of ten guests in five cabins. The master suite forward on the main deck and four cabins on the lower deck exist. The master is characterized by 'gill-like' glazing on either side of the room, a feature that the owner surely will enjoy.
The spaces onboard are spread across three decks with a spacious main saloon aft on the main deck. The decor is permeated by light creams and tans to help keep a light and airy atmosphere on the interior. As a semi-displacement yacht she will have a 24-knot top speed, enough brute to cover shorter distances quickly. Construction is moving along well and a launch in September, 2014 is expected.
