Amels has launched the first hull in its Limited Editions 188 series. 
This 57.7 metre yacht has been moved to Vlissingen for outfitting.
Exterior styling was done by Tim Heywood and interiors penned by the Reymond Langton design studio.
Yacht was introduced at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show.
Accommodation is for 12 guests split between six cabins, including an owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin on the bridge deck, two doubles and two twins. 
Full details are being kept under wraps for now.
Sea trials are yet to take place, but Amels is predicting a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles when trimmed back to 13 knots.
The first Amels Limited Editions 188 yacht is due to be delivered before the end of next year.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Dutch yard include the 74 metre Amels Limited Editions 242 series — the second hull is nearing completion and the third hull was launched last month.
Yesterday at the Dubai International Boat Show 2017 Oceano has revealed new superyacht concept.
The 120-metre vessel has been named Amara and designed in collaboration with Sam Sorgiovanni Designs.
Amara accommodates up to 20 guests.
It has an environment that has been specifically created with socialising in mind. The main deck has a pool bar, open balconies and large entertainment areas, as well as on the sun deck, where is an open-air cinema. 
It also has a expansive beach club with three way access to the sea, wellness area and an additional cinema ready to host up to 16 guests.
Commenting on the design, Sorgiovanni states: “In designing the exterior lines of Amara, I wanted to portray a very strong and muscular form that was progressive in design but with a timeless appeal.”
