CNB with a designer Philippe Briand has finished concept for a new 29.54 metre sailing yacht.
New sailing yacht concept is called the CNB 92 and it would be the largest launch from the French yard CNB since the 30.48 metre Chriscor S.
Philippe Briand said that CNB 92 shares and maximises certain characteristics such as manoeuvrability, performance and ease of maintenance. It would be built from GRP and carbon composite to have a maximum beam of 6.75 metres and a draft of 3.5 metres.
This long-range cruiser has been designed to be handled by the minimum of crew, making it ideal for an owner who values privacy and seclusion at sea. This sailing yacht is a potential regatta racing yacht.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at the CNB include a 43 metre German Frers-designed motor yacht. If built, this aluminium-hulled design would become the yard’s flagship, overtaking the 35.65 metre sailing yacht Hamilton II.
SanLorenzo yesterday launched its first 52Steel superyacht.
The superyacht was launched at Sanlorenzos new shipyard in La Spezia.
The launh was celebrated with the huge ceremony with her experienced Belgian owner, friends and family, as well as shipyard management and staff.
The yacht was named Seven Sins and it was designed in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design as a natural evolution of Sanlorenzo’s existing superyacht range. The 52Steel is unique in her exterior layout and on-deck amenities. Her large swimming pool on the aft deck is a feature that escapes any other yacht in this size range
Sanlorenzo is currently building hull number two of the 52Steel range, three units in the 460EXP line, as well as the brand’s flagship, the 64Steel.
