Swan sells fourth Swan 115-foot sailing yacht

Imagine the first Swan 115-foot sailing yacht was sold at the start of 2014 and now Swan can proudly say that they have just sold the fourth unit in this series. The Swan 115 represents the current top-of-the-line for Swan Yachts. Chief Executive Officer of Swan Yachts Enrico Chieffi is pleased with the progress. "We are successfully selling important boats, and this is the reward of Nautor’s Swan strong strategic plan."

German Frers is the designer of the Swan 115-foot line and it is available in two models, the Flush Deck (FD) and the Semi-Raised Saloon (S) versions. Swan Yachts isn't stopping at the Swan 115 model, they have a confidential concept project in the works and you will only know about it at the big reveal in September, presumably at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). At the moment, Swan has four 115-foot blue water sailing yachts under construction. The fourth hull, 115-004, is expected to be delivered to her owner in 2016.

Diversion over the final day of the 420 & 470 Youth European Championship 2014 with thundery weather alternating with lulls, but also with gusts above 25 kn. The 470 sailed the Medal Races in the Girls' and Boys' fleet, while the 420s completed another two fleet races.
After the first 420 race of the day, everything looked fine for Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUIextending their lead on 7 points. But in the final race, the balance tilted in favor of Hippolyte Machetti/Sidoine Dantes FRA winning the heat, while the Swiss had to content themselves with position 14. Max Clapp/Joseph Burns GBR won the duel with Ewa Romaniuk/Katarzyna Goralska POL for the Bronze Medal, but the Polnish girls on rank 4 finished as best girls team.
Jordi Xammar/Jose Hesp ESP had their Champion's title already before the Medal Race. Malte Winkel/Matti Cipra GER defended the Silver Medal with a 3rd race rank. The Bronze position changed in favor of David + Alex Charles ESP, overtaking the tied Giacomo Ferrari/Giulio Calabro ITA with a 2nd place in the Medal Race.
Winning the Medal Race as well, Anna Kyselova/Anastasiya Krasko UKR demonstrated once more their superiority in the 470 Girls' fleet, and clearly defended their 2013 Champion's title. Noya Bar-am/Rimon Shoshan ISR advanced on the Silver Medal rank, ahead of Frederike Loewe/Anna Markfort GER with Bronze.
