Cheoy Lee has unveiled the latest design in collaboration with Overring Yacht Design and elevates the robust appeal that has been generated by yachts like "Mazu" and "Marco Polo". The new Cheoy Lee 150-footer can be built in steel and aluminium or steel and composite depending on what the owner may prefer.
As with Cheoy Lee's larger yachts, range is a significant feature. The 150 isn't cast aside in this regard. She is envisioned to feature one CAT 3512 marine diesel engine connected to a controllable-pitch propeller. Fuel tankage is for 94,625 LT and that coupled with slow cruising speeds should see significant range capabilities. For example, at 9 to10-knots she is expected to have a 10,000 nautical mile range and at 12-knots it reduces to around 6,000 nautical miles. Top speed is estimated to be 15-knots with the CAT3512C engine. The Cheoy Lee 150 is fully classed to ABS/MCA and being offered a 24-month build time.

The Laser U21 Worlds continued with two races yesterday, sailed in a fresher breeze around 15 kn. Lighter participants, such as Joel Rodriguez ESP, winner of several Laser Radial Youth titles during this season already, had difficulties to keep the pace of the best in these conditions.
In the Lasers Standard, Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR extended his lead on 14 points. Hermann Tomasgaard NOR is new on rank 2, Stefano Peschiera PER on rank 3. Maxim Nikolaev RUS on the 4th place is the best, Joel Rodriguez ESP on position 9 the second-best U19 helmsman.
Agata Barwinska POL consolidated her lead in theLasers Radial with another race win. Daphne van der Vaart NED is now already 12 points back. New on rank 3 follows Lena Haverland GER. Martina Reina ESP on the 9th place leads in the U19 rankings. Marie Barrué FRA advanced on rank 12 and is 2nd among the U19 participants.
