Today is day one of the Olympic Skiff and Nacra-17 North American Championship in Clearwater at the Florida West Coast. Many European teams remained in the area to continue their training in an accommodation climate after the Miami ISAF Worldcup. 
To mention in the Nacra 17 the French teams Moana Vaireaux/Manon... FRA and Frank Cammas/Sophie de Turckheim FRAs, the multiple Olympic medalist and ocean racer Iker Martinez/... and the fromer Moth World Champion Bora Gulari USA (no crew names on the entry list, unfortunately). Favorite among the 23 49erFX are most probably Ida-Marie Baad/Marie Thusgaard DEN, but the four German teams Leonie Meyer/Saskia Stoffers GER, Viktoria Jurczok/Annika Lorenz GER, Jule Görge/Lotta Görge GER and Tina Lutz/Susan Beucke GER are not without chances.
German superyacht manufacturer Abeking & Rasmussen just launched their latest superyacht and first for 2015. She is a full displacement yacht, sistership to the 2014 built "Kibo"(6497).
The yacht was built under yard number 6498 and to no surprise features exterior design penned by Terence Disdale, just like her sister. The German yard (A&R) has not yet commented on the launch of 6498, now called "Dartwo" and details are very much still under wraps. However, Dartwo is a five deck superyacht with a GRT of around 2,300. She was built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure sporting Naval Architecture by Abeking & Rasmussen themselves. The yacht is now outside in the open and at A&R's outfitting berth being prepared for sea trials and then subsequent delivery to her owner. YF will keep you informed as more details come to hand.
