Last Thursday afternoon a 40 metre long yacht was caught by a fire at the Mediterranean coast. 
Stunned tourists near Nice witnessed a suprising sight when the fire caught the yacht.
The yacht belonged to an Italian industrial tycoon Diana Bracco.
Ms Bracco was allegedly onboard the yacht when it caught fire and sunk last week. Ms Bracco is part of the Bracco group, one of Italy's largest pharmaceutical companies and also the former vice-president of Confindustria, the largest organisation representing manufacturing companies in Italy.
The fire started on Thursday afternoon and sanked at around 10pm at night.The boat was located 6km south of Nice airport in the French Riviera.
The 11 passengers on board the Italian yacht were all rescued from the fire. One was taken to hospital in nearby Antibes.
New motor yacht Astondoa 100 Century has been launched by Spanish boatbuilder Astondoa.
She was announced in June and her public debut was at 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Guest accommodation is provided in four cabins.
It can accommodate ten guests while the crew quarters allows for a staff up to four people.
Interior styling is courtesy of famous Italian designer Cristiano Gatto.
Beam is 6.9 metres and maximum draught of 1.8 metres.
Power comes from a pair of 2,185hp MTU 16V2000 M86 engines that should propel the Astondoa 100 Century to a comfortable cruising speed of 22 knots, topping out at 26 knots. 
Astondoa has plans to expand its Century range with a 36.5 metre model and a 40 metre model both currently on the drawing board.
