The Brazilian yard has
starded the construction of 24.8 metre long motor yacht named Riostar 83.
This flybridge motor yacht features a beam of 5.8 metres and should weigh
in with a total displacement of around 55 tonnes.
Yacht will make its public debut in April at the 2018 Rio Boat Show.
Deck and hull are already complete and engines have been installed.
Next stage is to infuse the superstructure and flybridge.
Key features include a large bathing platform.
Riostar 83 features a main saloon that measures 60 metres square with a lounge area, television and formal dining space for hosting up to eight guests.
Flybridge measures 45 metres square, with a large C-shaped wrap of seating back aft, two sunpads and an al fresco dining area that is sheltered by a hardtop Bimini.
On-board bar includes a barbecue grill, sink, icemaker and refrigerator.
Power comes froam a pair of 1,925hp Caterpillar C32 engines that will propel the Riostar 83 to a cruising speed of 32 knots, topping out at 37 knots.
Total fuel capacity is 5.000 litres.
This motor yacht will be the yard’s fifth superyacht and the largest built in Brazil to date.
Italian yard Otam has revealed details of a new 30 metre motor yacht called the Otam 100HT.
It was announced earlier this week at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 and already has serious client interest even she is still in the concept stage.
100HT has a crew-specific passageways, which allow the staff to go about their duties without disturbing the guests.
Owner’s cabin stretches across the full 6.63 metre beam.
Crew quarters and galley are fitted astern of this area, providing a noise buffer against the powerful engine room.
There is room for a VIP cabin in the bows and two twin cabins, taking the total accommodation to eight guests and four crewmembers. Large foredeck dining area can seat up to ten guests.
Power comes from a pair of 2,600hp MTU engines.
