Italian builder MondoMarine has chosen the 2015 edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) to unveil a new design, the SF60.
The Show opened its doors today and will run until the Saturday, the 7th of March. The design depicts a number of wanted features onboard a superyacht and include a touch-and-go helipad on the bow. There is a jacuzzi pool situated on the forward sun deck. The owners cabin is perched on the upper deck and features private access making it further exclusive. The main tender garage is on the lower deck. The SF60 - so-called for it's length and designed by SF Yachts- is envisioned to come with a MTU powerplant consisting of twin 16V 2000 M84 engines. However, there is an option available for more powerful MTU 16V 4000 M93Ls. If this option is utilized, the top speed will be around 21-knots and cruise at 19-knots while if the more standard engine set is used, the top speed will be 18-knots. At 12-knots continuously, the SF60 is likely to have a 4,000 nautical mile range. On the interior the SF60 is expected to accommodate guests in six suites. Two of them will be on the lower deck while three are on the main deck and as previously mentioned, the master is on upper deck.
The Horizon PC52 offers panoramic views on the main deck through the large sweeping windows, and the natural light flowing in enhances open salon and galley layout.
Below deck, a master, VIP and twin guest staterooms accommodate six comfortably. On the open bridge, EZ2CY glass has been installed to allow easy cruising in various weather elements, and the glass also provides a more intimate space for guests to relax on the bridge. The Horizon PC52 power catamaran will debut in Australia at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, which runs May 21st-24th.Stability and huge interiors are at the center of the PC52 Power Catamaran's pitch to potential customers. The popularity of this model and platform is making waves globally and Horizon is now set to debut it in Australia at the Sanctuary Show in May to encourage clients from down under. The particular PC52 that will debut at the show was put through sea trial tests very recently.
