Italian sailing yacht specialists Perini Navi is proud to announce the sale of another luxury sailing yacht in their 60-meter range.
This series is starting to take off so far with 60-meter 2013 build "Seahawk" and 60-meter 2015 build "Perseus^3" sailing around. A fourth 60-meter is being built on spec at the moment so that would suggest this one doesn't have an owner as yet. The current 60-meter we are talking about was recently sold and has an owner, leading to Perini's excitable feeling.abio Boschi who is the Chairman of Perini Navi commented on the good news. “It is with great pleasure that I announce the sale of our latest vessel. In a very competitive market situation for large sailing yachts, this sale once again represents an impressive achievement for our company, of which we are extremely proud”. The design is again a collaboration between Perini Navi's in-house team and Ron Holland. Expect this particular yacht to be completed for her new owner in 2017.
American builder Westport Yachts recently sold a new Westport 112-footer. This yacht did not have an owner and was built on speculation and completed earlier this year.
Finally they have found a new owner for the yacht after having it for sale asking around $11,995,000 dollars. The yacht was sold by Fraser Yachts and Westport is now happy to have this one leaving their premises and in the hands of an owner. As we have said before, the hull is brand new and has a pair of MTU 16V2000 diesels. Top speed is around 25-knots and high-speed cruising around 20 to 22-knots. Onboard there is provision for guest accommodation in four cabins that include a relatively large full-beam master stateroom, VIP-type cabin, a double as well as a twin. Those cabins satisfy housing for at least eight guests in total comfort and luxury. No name has been released as yet for the new Westport 112 motoryacht.
