Admiral's Impero 40-meter line just got a boost with the announcement of the new sale of a unit in that class. The new semi-displacement yacht is designed by Luca Dini and will be sleeping her guests in a five cabin layout with the master forward on the main deck.
Besides the master there is going to be a VIP-type cabin and three others between doubles and twins for the rest of the guests. There are provisions to sleep up to seven crew members onboard. Other features include a beautiful jacuzzi aft on the flybridge with extensive sunpadded seating further aft.The raised pilothouse style Impero 40-meter yacht is off to a decent start with the first hull being completed in 2014. According to Francesco Carbone, Group Vice Chairman & Sales Director, "this is the third Impero RPH sold in less than 3 years”. In terms of performance, the new Impero 40-meter is expected to run at a top speed of 20-knots and cruise at around 18-knots thanks to her dual CAT 1,925 horse power marine diesels. Expect this new aluminum semi-displacement yacht to be delivered to her owners in 2016.
Turkish builder Numarine is off to a decent start with its new 105HT (hardtop) series.
The first hull is already well-underway in build with the hull itself already completed. The second unit has been sold as well and construction will start soon on that one. Naval Architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini while the rest of the design -exterior and interior- is in-house by Numarine's designer Can Yalman. The performance yacht series is a tad larger than their 102 FLY but still retains the sexy and hip racy feel of an open-type motoryacht.
The guest cabin arrangement appears to be in a full beam master suite midships with two doubles and a twin all ensuite. Performance wise, the Numarine 105HT will have a top speed of 30-knots and a high-paced cruising speed at 26-knots with her twin CAT C32 1,925 horsepower set-up. The main saloon is fairly spacious and comfortable with extra light coming in from the forward roof thanks to a large glass skylight. Up above towards the aft is the yacht's flybridge featuring a secondary helm station placed along the centerline. Ample seating is up here too plus a small bar but don't expect to have too many persons at the same time. Down on the bow, there is even more exterior seating for the sun-conscious guests.
