Horizon Yachts launch first V80 motoryacht "The One"

Horizon Yachts has announced the launch and delivery of the first V80 motor yacht "The One". The One was handed over to a new owner in Taiwan at the end of last month. “The launch of The One marks two milestones – she is not only hull one of the new Horizon V80 model but also the first over 24m large private yacht Horizon had delivered to a Taiwan owner” says Horizon Group CEO John Lu.
The Horizon V80 cockpit was reimagined from the V74 model after listening to client feedback; Horizon increased interior volume and added a variety of amenities and features, such as the ability to accommodate three or four spacious ensuite staterooms and an internal stairwell from the salon to crew. On the exterior, Horizon incorporated a U-shaped settee for 8 persons and dual sunpads in the foredeck, with the option for a Bimini top if desired, and the crew quarters also saw an increase in space.

Built for first-time yacht owner, The One features a number of custom items requested by the owner: a three stateroom layout below deck, with an oversize master; a mahjong area forward of the salon on the main deck; and the galley aft of the engines in lieu of a crew area. Equipped with twin MAN V12 1360HP engines, The One cruises at 20.6-knots and tops out at 24.2-knots.
