The 30.45 metre motor yacht Princess Three has been delivered, her builder Princess Yachts has confirmed.
Hull number six in the yard’s Princess 30M series, she boasts naval architecture and exterior design by long-term collaborator Bernard Olesinski.
Accommodation on board Princess Three is for up to ten guests split between five cabins, including a main-deck master suite. Meanwhile, her crew quarters allow for a staff of up to five people.
Key features include a spacious superyacht sundeck, which has been fitted with the optional spa pool, making this area ideal for al fresco relaxation. Her interior décor is described by the yard as “timeless and contemporary, offering relaxed, yet sophisticated living”.
Built from a GRP hull and superstructure, Princess Three features a beam of 7.05 metres and a maximum draught of 2.06 metres.
Power comes from a pair of 1,900hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines, which allow for a top speed of 22 knots, as the Princess team confirmed on sea trials shortly after her December launch.
Other projects currently under development at Princess Yachts include the new 24.66 metre Princess S78 sportsbridge series, which made its public debut earlier this week at the 2018 Düsseldorf International Boat Show. The yard adds that the first ten hulls have already been sold and it is on course to break its sales record for the show.
New 32.27 metre long sailing yacht named Satisfaction has been delivered.
Satisfactions builder is Southern Wind Shipyard.
Styled inside and out by Nauta Design.
Her naval architecture comes courtesy of Farr Yacht Design.
“The aim when conceiving this project was to incorporate a modicum of raceboat features into a cruiser/racer while keeping a beautiful aesthetic and a high level of comfort," explains Jim Schmicker, vice-president of Farr Yacht Design.
"The wide aft sections and transom make for more internal volume and deck area. This generous width is carefully balanced with extra volume in the forward sections to ensure the yacht remains in control with a level fore-and-aft trim when sailing at typical upwind heel angles.”
Accommodation is for up to eight guests split between four staterooms, including an owner’s cabin situated in the bow, and two twin rooms and a double cabin amidships. Meanwhile, the crew quarters allows for a staff of up to six people.
Marco Aberti, general manager of Southern Wind, said: "Satisfaction is a perfectly balanced and powerful sailing yacht that performs very well in light air. Thanks to her twin rudder configuration, she is very light on the helm in any condition. The wide deck with the cockpits on the same level gives a real superyacht feeling.”
