Profile
After graduating of university in Latvia, I decided to get to know world by traveling around and through it. I have travelled on and off for 10 months and as I’m young and motivated, I decided to get into the yachting industry to expand my travels and also gain useful experience in this field. I am seeking a permanent or temporary position as a yacht stewardess. I believe my 6 year experience in hospitality industry as a housekeeper, receptionist and breakfast waitress will help me to make a significant contribution to any yacht I would work on. I’m responsible, self – motivated, hard working and driven. I am eager to listen, learn and work in order to gain in experience.

I worked in Budapest in a youth hostel as a housekeeper and receptionist. My duties included doing the laundry, cleaning the rooms, hallways and bathrooms, checking in guests, taking care of them, making sure they were aware of events happening in the city and dealing with customer complaints.
Nov 2014 – Dec 2014 AB Hostel Housekeeping and reception
I worked in Belgium in a backpacker hostel as housekeeper and receptionist. For the first 4 hours I had to clean all rooms, hallways, bathrooms and common areas, change bed linen, do laundry and maintaining general cleanliness in the hostel. After cleaning I was responsible for checking in guests, sharing information about the city, taking payments and helping them with any need they had.

I was responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the hotel. My duties included sweeping, moping the floors, cleaning rooms, changing bed linen, scrubbing the bathrooms, doing laundry. As a hotel receptionist my main duties were greeting guests, arranging reservations, helping guests with any problem or need they had, answering calls, preparing bills, taking payments, cleaning reception and ensuring great presentation of a hotel. I was also responsible for serving breakfast which included setting up the tables, serving the food and beverages, cleaning, polishing silverware and glasses and making sure that clients were enjoying their meal.
