Sarp Yachts is going to build its second yacht Nacre 55

Turkish yard Sarp Yachts announced that it will be building its second yacht Nacre 55.

Nacre 55 will be built in Antalya to a design by Milanese studio Hot Lab with an interior volume totalling 750GT.
Nacre 55 is due for completion in autumn 2020.

Shipyard manager Emre Sandan said: “We can easily finance these kind of projects ourselves."

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests split across six cabins including a full-beam owner’s stateroom and a double VIP cabin on the main deck.
Six crew cabins and a bridge deck captain’s cabin allow for a staff of up to 13 people.

Power will come from a pair of 1,500hp engines, supplied by either Caterpillar or MTU, for a top speed of 15.5 knots.

Other projects currently under development at the Turkish yard include the 63 metre explorer yacht concept Aouda, which was also designed by Hot Lab.
