"Serenity": First MondoMarine SF40 Launches In Italy

The first unit in the brand new MondoMarine SF40 line has been launched. She is called "Serenity" and was launched into the water for the first time yesterday at a glitzy ceremony. This yacht is expected to be on display at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The yacht was launched during the company's 100th year celebrations so it was an extra special occasion for a launch event.

The new yacht is looking to keep the indoor-outdoor connection well alive with large panes of glass as well as plenty areas on each deck exterior to sit and lounge. One of these sunlounging areas flanks a glass fronted-jacuzzi on the aft upper deck. The bulwarks surrounding the exterior decks of the main saloon have fold-down balconies which would further aid the views outward from the saloon especially when at anchor. The semi-displacement yacht features an unusual layout for the owner’s suite which is on two semi-levels essentially. The uppermost portion is fully available to the outside views of the world with an open view forward. The lower portion has more of an inclusive and intimate feel with light coming from the top and from the sides. There is accommodation for guests on the lower deck with four sizable cabins.
