The Midwinters in Miami, open for five Olympic Classes, ended yesterday with two light-wind races.

A remarkable number of international top sailors attended this event to prepare for the ISAF World Cup regatta beginning on the coming weekend. 
No surprise in the 470 men where the Olympic and World Champions Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS added another overall win to their long palmares. Patience/Willis GBR and Matsunaga/Kanagawa JPN completed the podium. Lara Vadlau/Jolanta Ogar POL were the clear winners in the 470 women ahead of Mills/Clarke GBR and Kondo/ Yoshioka JPN. British domination in the 49ers with Pink/Bithell GBR in front of Fletcher/Sign GBR and Lehtinen/During SWE. In the 49erFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA were once more on position one with Maloney/Meech NZL and Bekkering/Duetz NED on the ranks 2 and 3. Mandy Mulder/Coen De Koning NED ahead of John Gimson/Pippa Wilson GBR and Gemma Jones/Jason Saunders NZL was the podium in the Nacra-17. Wonwoo Cho KOR and Bryony Shaw GBR were the winners in the RS:X windsurfers.
