It was quite breezy during the three races of yesterday concluding the Qualification Series for the Gold and Silver fleets.

Peter Burling NZL remained the dominator, winning all three heats, but Nathan Outteridge AUS is only 2 points behind in the overall rankings. A fierce fight for the World Champion's title between these two 49er and potential America's Cup helmsmen ('Team New Zealand' and 'Artemis') in the Final Series is guaranteed ! Scott Babbage AUS on 3rd is 7 points behind, Tom Slingsby, Laser Olympic Champion and member of the AC 'Team Oracle', is 4th. 
Qualified for the Goldfleet are among others Glenn Ashby AUS (Rang 19), Dean Barker NZL (35), Rohan Veal AUS (36), Annalise Murphy IRL (63) and as only Frenchman the Mini-Transat winner Benoît Marie FRA (71). Philippe Presti FRA, Loïck Peyron FRA or Freddy Lööf SWE continue the Championship in the Silverfleet. 

Light winds prevail again today, and the Goldfleet has already terminated a first Final race with Hiroki Goto JPN as winner.
