420 - World Championship 2014 - Travemünde GER - Final results

A morning thunderstorm delayed the seabreeze until past 1 p.m. UTC, the latest start time on the final day, so that the proclamation of the 2014 World Champions Carlotta Omari/Francesca Russo ITA and José Ruiz/Fernando Davila ESP took place without racing yesterday. 
The Italian Girls won with a 5 points' advantage on Kimberley Lim/ Savannah Sieuw SIN, Silver and U18 Youth Champions. Aikaterini Savoulari/Foteini Kousoumpou GRE earned the Bronze medal. The U16 Youth Trophy went to Paulina Fauroux/Anel Ponthieu FRA on rank 21. 
In the Open/Boys rankings, the outcome was closer. Jose-Mauel Ruiz/Fernando Davila ESP won 3 points ahead of Hippolyte Machetti/Sidoine Dantes FRA, Silver and U18 Youth Champions. Bronze and the U16 Youth Champions' title went to Ido Bilik/Ofek Shalgi ISR.
