Tansu Yachts launch 37.9-meter megayacht "So'Mar"

Tansu Yachts have launched their newest megayacht, the 37.9-meter "So'Mar". It is an interesting period for Tansu yachts with quite a few projects going on. This particular project was announced coming on to the end of 2012 along with another 38-meter project called 'Cutlass'. Cutlass is expected to launch in Spring 2015 while the 39-meter 'Alyssa' is geared to launch in July, 2014.

So'Mar presents an interesting design almost in an explorer military design. She can boast in the provision of accommodation for eight guests in four cabins. The master suite is located on the upper deck and really that whole deck is for the owner. It is interesting looking at the design how the bridge appears to be stuck halfway between the upper deck and the main deck. This is because it is designed in a raised pilot house manner creating a sort-of tween deck in that area. The design is by Tansu Yachts collaborating with Diana Naval Architects on the Naval Architecture. She was built in wooden composite utilizing IrokoSapelli and Acajou.
