Tankoa Yachts Unveil 70-meter Design at Monaco Yacht Show 2014

Italian yard Tankoa Yachts released their one of their newest superyacht designs at the on-going 2014 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). Simply going by the yard's build number S701, it suggests that the project is 70-meters LOA with an 11.6-meter beam over all. A maximum draft of 3.38-meters rounds out the principle specs for this 1,400 GRT vessel.

Hull S701 is spread across an impressive five decks, four of them being internal above the waterline. The decks feature a number of great areas for guests to call home or entertain themselves, dine and pamper themselves to the highest order. Tankoa Yachts are marketing this particular yacht as 'the dream mansion' based on its palatial-like arrangement. The master suite onboard measures almost 100 square-meters with a 180° panoramic sea view enriching this luxurious space with a private studio, jacuzzi and terrace with sun beds to maximize wellness on board.

Oversized beach club with bar and saloon along with two dedicated areas for the sauna and hammam with exclusive sea view and private balconies continue the wellness theme onboard S701. The upper deck features a touch-and-go heli-pad that is convertible into an outdoor “ready-to-party” dance floor. A spacious gym and massage area on this deck with full external views thanks to ample glazing invigorates the senses with glorious sea views. A state-of-the-art pool for relaxing and refreshing while being kissed by the Mediterraean or Caribbean sun awaits.

The 70-meter Tankoa superyacht is anticipated to have a power package of two CAT 3516 B DITA-SCAC HD marine engines. Top speed is to be around 16.5-knots and high-cruise at 15. Long-range cruising at a continuous 12.5-knots can attain a 5,000 nautical mile range. She is going to be equipped with Zero Speed stabilizers for great motion control at anchor and classification is under Lloyds + RINA + MCA.
